Most of these pictures were taken on January 8th 2005, or 13 days after the tsunami.

As of the first of March 2005 the cleanup and recovery were well on it's way, as was the rebuilding and planning for next season.

Season Bungalow, Ko Jum.

This is the resort between Ko Jum Lodge and the Golden Pearl.

These pictures don't do justice to the hammering this resort got from the waves.

Woodland Lodge, Ko Jum.

WL owners Ray and Bao lost all of their cheapie bungalows along the front and a few of their better huts were damaged. All of WL's beautiful landscaping got washed away, as did their bar. The restaurant got flooded, but the only real damage was to the roof. The boat ended up jammed against a bungalow.

They are open and rebuilding.
